Where can I go golfing?

Discovery Bay Golf Course
The oldest public course in Washington State, this 18-hole course offers views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains and is – believe it or not - dog-friendly! 

  • Location: From Port Angeles, take Highway 101 east to the south end of Discovery Bay. Turn left at Highway 20, then follow for 6 miles to Discovery Bay Road. Turn left and follow for one mile just past the Chevy Chase Inn. Turn left on Cape George Road to the clubhouse.

Sunland Golf and Country Club
Part of the Sunland Residential Community in Sequim, this is a Par 72 course set in lush surroundings with asphalt paths for carts and plenty of challenges. 

  • Location: From Port Angeles, take Highway 101 east to the Sequim Ave. exit. At the traffic circle, take the second exit on Sequim-Dungeness Way. Make a right on Taylor and then a left on Fairway to the clubhouse.

The Cedars at Dungeness
Located near the 7 Cedars Casino in Sequim, this lovely course is famous for its crab-shaped sand trap on the third hole. The par 72 course hosts Pro and Pro-Am tournaments throughout the year. 

  • Location: From Port Angeles take Highway 101 east to left on Kitchen Dick Lane. Turn right on Old Olympic Highway, which becomes Cays Road. Make a left on Woodcock to the course, located on the right.

Port Ludlow Golf Club
There are two nine-hole courses here, each designed by Robert Muir Grave. Towering greens and stunning views have made this course one of Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” and Esquire Magazine called it the “Most Scenic in the World.” 

  • Location: From Port Angeles, take US 101 East to US 104 East. Turn left on WA 19 to right on Oak Bay Road. Follow for 2 miles and make a slight right on Heron Road to the golf club.
